Default Elementalist gear (i need help)

Ok. so far i have seen staffs and wands that add to energy and do damage. Are there such staffs that actually add to fire SKILLS. not fire damage. Unless fire damage on a wand increases the damage of say the spell flare. or are there staff wrapings or things like that, that can do this.


If there are such staffs. please list them. if u know the price plz list^^

Same thing for the wrappings.



The armour: now wat is the max def elemental armour can have?? ty * i need to know cuz i havent been to ALL the outposts*

And in draknors forge. do the armours have better def or anything better. or is it just the skin thats different?

No there are no weapons that add to any of your skills, unless you count that a staff of fire +1 adds to your fire skill thus more damage. The damage spec'd by a weapon is what the weapon does when you attack, it does not affect the damage dealt by a spell.

Armor max def for eles is 60 I believe, but don't quote me, anything after the 1.5 k armor at draknors is cosmetic only. ( I think, someone correct me please)

No you are right. Ele is 60. Anything after forge 1.5k armor is purely cosmetic. But it looks nice.

And for the skills thing. no. But you may find the. "fire magic +1" "chance 10% while using skill". Me personaly i like wands. Opens up your second hand for extra energy. My wand that i have now is 11-21 and "improves skill recharge using fire magic" and my flame artifact has +12. sumthin else. and health +112 while enchanted. So i get all that extra stuff from two hands. So just see what you like. But wands arnt upgradable so thats the only downside.

Armore base max for Eles is 60, yes, but each element's armour also gives +15 armour against that element. I've heard tell that the 'aspected' armour also has a weakness against its opposed element, which would be a reason to bother with 'vanilla' elementalists armour, but the "[whatever]mancer's" armours need more materials, so I suspect that's the reason for the "vanilla" types.
